Mt. Prospect, IL (March 28, 2006) – NTN USA and NTN Bearing Corporation of America (NBCA) announced Friday that Peter M. Eich, 46, has been named President of NBCA. Pete, who previously served as Vice President, Industrial OEM Sales replaces Richard (Rick) L. Thomas, who announced he will be retiring from the company on March 31, 2006 after 34 years of service. In addition to his new position at NBCA, he will serve as a member of the Board of Directors of NBCA.

Thomas stated, “I am confident in handing off the leadership to Pete.” Commenting on the transition, he added: “I have been working with Pete for the past 3 years and I am very comfortable in his abilities to move NTN forward to achieve future goals.”

Eich commented, “I am excited about the opportunity to lead NTN towards continued growth. I am fortunate to inherit a good business model and a hard working, very capable staff. Our team has a tremendous advantage with the quality products that are produced in NTN’s plants. One of the areas that makes NTN a great company is that we constantly work to improve quality in everything we do. It is an exciting time to be a part of NTN’s team.”

Pete joined NTN as a project engineer in 1982. He advanced within engineering through positions of increasing responsibility before assuming the position of Vice President – Industrial Engineering in 2001. In 2002, he was appointed to his most recent position as Vice President – Industrial / OEM / Sales.

Born in Merrillville, Indiana, Pete has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He is a member of SAE and has also participated in the AEM Organization for the past 3 years. Pete’s superior knowledge of the bearing industry along with his nearly 24 years of NTN experience make him imminently qualified to lead NBCA. His sterling quality of dedication and expertise will ensure continued success for many years to come.

NTN USA Corporation and all of its subsidiaries welcome Pete Eich to his new role and look forward to building on the positive momentum we experience today.
